Hello
I'm Mike Cummings.
32 years in healthcare security and I'm just getting warmed up.
I was fortunate to spend most of my career with Aurora Health Care, an organization that was born out of a merger, only to become Wisconsin's largest fully integrated healthcare system. I grew right alongside Aurora, learning how to provide security services to a wide range of healthcare delivery subsystems — inpatient, ambulatory, behavioral health, hospice, retail pharmacy, community outreach, and home health.
I believe in life-long learning, so I've continued my own professional growth by staying extremely active in volunteer leadership roles, both as a student and a teacher, obtaining my Masters in Business and Organizational Security and re-certifying as a CPP (the highest professional credential) ten times since 1985.
Why do I spend so much time learning and growing? Simply put, I want to help you overcome the challenges you face. I started Cummings Security Consultants so I could make my knowledge and experience available to more organizations, like yours.
